Favorite inspirational quote:

E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G—is connected. Our work is intersectional and multifaceted. Nature teaches us that our work has to be nuanced and steadfast. And more than anything, that we need each other—at our highest natural glory—in order to get free.”

My fundraising story: I have been fortunate to have spent almost 2 decades advancing diverse and important causes. Working at the Grand Rapids Coalition to End Homelessness, I helped to increase affordable housing and advancing Housing First and Rapid Re-Housing services.  During my tenure at Habitat for Humanity of Kent County, I walked alongside first-time homebuyers make their dream of homeownership come true which evolved into serving as Executive Director and leading a $40MM collaborative neighborhood development project with multiple community partners. Serving as Donor Relations Director at Idaho Youth Ranch, I helped raise $30+MM to build the first residential treatment facility in Idaho for young people in need of trauma-informed, behavioral health care.

Why I care about helping nonprofits grow: To live a life in service to others is my north star.
