THURS OCT 3 · 8:30 - 11:30AM · SCANDINAVIA HOUSE · NEW YORK, NY
Events are a staple of nonprofit fundraising, especially in New York City. They build community, raise awareness, and generate invaluable unrestricted funding for important causes.
For all their benefits, however, events pose challenges to organizations—especially when they are the primary source of revenue. They are expensive, require significant staff time, and face intense competition. Given these challenges, it’s becoming clear: nonprofits need a “diversified portfolio” of funding sources.
In our second Aperio Roundtable, we’ll gather an intimate group of nonprofit and fundraising leaders to discuss strategies for diversifying beyond events. Together, we’ll work through questions such as:
How do you know it’s time to diversify beyond events?
How can event success be leveraged to launch a philanthropy program?
What can we learn from organizations that have taken this leap successfully?
Join us for an interactive roundtable to brainstorm strategies, workshop solutions to common challenges, and exchange resources. All non-profit leaders and fundraisers welcome!
