Amy Casey
Pronouns: she/her
Areas of expertise: grant and proposal writing, case development, impact reporting, donor communications, stewardship, pipeline development, prospect research, database analytics and wealth overlays, program and campaign planning
Causes I’m most passionate about: medical research, access to medical care, human rights for all humans, animal welfare, youth development, mental health, education and opportunity for all
My fundraising story: My entire career has focused on helping non-profits thrive so they can better serve others and drive impact. Telling these stories is an important avenue of my experience, as is identifying others (companies, individuals, foundations) with a shared commitment and desire for positive change. Through a combination of consulting and direct non-profit employment supporting the nation’s largest youth development organization, I have built a breadth of knowledge in prospect research and donor solicitation as well as additional experience in program design and evaluation.
Why I care about helping nonprofits grow: Nonprofits make every voice heard. The diversity of the industry and the causes they are impacting every day add incredible value to our lives.
Hobbies: chasing my son, completing jigsaw puzzles, increasing difficulty level in Sudoku, cozying with my cat (and family), using exercise as an excuse to watch YouTube, and drinking coffee
Unusual talent: I speak dog, and potentially cat.
