Causes I’m most passionate about: animal welfare, access to education, community development, affordable housing

My fundraising story: I have had the opportunity to work in fundraising since my freshmen year of college. I worked as a student ambassador through the University of Nevada, Reno’s Annual Giving office. From there I earned my Master’s Degree in Public Administration and during that time worked as an intern for a local education non-profit, that provided scholarships for students from rural Texas communities. For the past five years, I have worked in higher education fundraising consulting, partnering with a variety of institutions to help them achieve their fundraising goals. This included working with universities, such as Texas A&M University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Why I care about helping nonprofits grow: Nonprofits provide so much for our world and foster a sense of community, unity, and collective responsibility. Helping nonprofits grow can lead to meaningful and sustainable change for the communities in which they serve and I love being a part of that process.

Hobbies: traveling, attending concerts, baking, reading, online shopping
