My fundraising story: Serving as a managing director at Aperio Philanthropy, I supported nonprofits and foundations nationwide in accomplishing their missions as a managing director at Aperio Philanthropy. I served as the Chief Philanthropy Officer for Second Harvest of Silicon Valley for five years. In that time, overseeing a team of 70, I led efforts to increase revenues by 203%, from $37M to $112M. The dollars raised fed about half a million individuals each month in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Previously I worked on behalf of those experiencing homelessness for ten years and I served in the Peace Corps in Armenia. Hobbies: hiking, amateur astronomy, cooking new recipes
Unusual talent: I can break eggs on my forehead while cooking. This was the skill that led to me winning at the Florida State Fair cooking contests. And maybe the food was pretty good, too.
