Areas of expertise: Brand partnerships & sponsorship, celebrity engagement & relations, corporate engagement & volunteerism, donor cultivation, events, marketing, and public relations
Causes I’m most passionate about: Childhood poverty and child welfare, cancer and disease
My fundraising story: Born with a desire to help people, many days of my childhood were spent selling lemonade to benefit my local hospital. Fast forward a bit and I have spent more than 20 years strategically connecting individuals, nonprofit organizations, and brands to one another, consumers, key influencers, and the media through experiential events, partnerships, and public relations and marketing campaigns.
Currently, I advise nonprofits on best practices surrounding sponsorship, celebrity engagement, public relations, and marketing.
As Director of Strategic Partnerships and Marketing at GOOD+ Foundation (formerly Baby Buggy), I conceptualized and executed financially-sponsored partnerships with myriad companies including Bai, Esquire Magazine, Gucci, IMG, Johnson & Johnson, KIND, Mattel, Microsoft, Ralph Lauren, Simon & Schuster, SoulCycle, Target, and Warner Bros. Entertainment. In addition to leading corporate development efforts, I managed press strategy and social media, created the celebrity ambassador program, and served as a contact for key individual donors.
Why I care about helping nonprofits grow: I care about improving lives by alleviating suffering. Living in poverty as a child is not a choice. Choosing to help children living in poverty is.
Hobbies: Family bike rides and reading
Unusual talent: The ability to recite the alphabet backward and sing all 50 states alphabetically
