Area of expertise: Database management, data analysis and reporting, process optimization 

Unusual talent: I am unusually talented at spelling. If I’m given a word that I’ve never seen before, I can somehow visualize it and spell it correctly every time. It’s a weird talent but comes in handy when writing lengthy emails! 

Hobbies: Staying active (recently took up swimming! Bought a swim cap and everything!), spending time with my dog Stella, thrift shopping with my mom, taking road trips with friends, reading, and napping. 

Causes I’m most passionate about: Children’s welfare, Animal welfare, Human rights, Civil rights, Foster care 

My fundraising story: I have worked in the Development Operations space at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America for the past four years. I currently manage the Donor Care team and, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations, lead the team in process improvement for the following activities: donor acknowledgement; gift coding, batching, and general data entry; monthly reconciliation; and special gift procedures (stock, pledges, matching gifts). 

Why I care about helping nonprofits grow: I have seen first-hand how data drives missions forward and would love to utilize my expertise to assist other organizations in using clean and accurate data to create a foundation for fundraising success.
