Favorite inspirational quote:

“Surely, in the light of history, it is more intelligent to hope rather than to fear, to try rather than not to try. For one thing we know beyond all doubt: Nothing has ever been achieved by the person who says, ‘It can’t be done.’”

– Eleanor Roosevelt

My fundraising story: I am a finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and analysis. Finance is often described as the ‘lifeblood’ of an organization. Earlier in my career when I worked with Ford Motor Company and later as a consultant, I witnessed how the availability of funding impacted projects and programs. I saw how good ideas can be delayed or shelved because of a lack of timely and sufficient funding. Addressing that barrier in nonprofits, Aperio offers hands-on support allowing these organizations to thrive and generate valuable impact in our communities. I am thrilled to be part of an innovative team and to lend my expertise to further Aperio’s critical mission.

Why I care about helping nonprofits grow:  Nonprofit organizations play an important role in meeting the social and economic needs of our local and global societies. Their mission-driven work helps create more equitable and thriving communities making the world a better place! Facilitating nonprofits to deliver on their missions more quickly and efficiently is relevant and essential work for our world today.

Hobbies: traveling with my family, cooking international foods, vegetable gardening (in summer), quilting, mystery/detective novels & shows.
