My fundraising story: I have seen the profound impact that fundraising dollars have on our communities as a professional who has worked in direct client services. I am committed to translating my experiences working alongside those most vulnerable in our communities to helping fundraisers share meaningful, insightful stories with donors about their impact. I have worked in the nonprofit sector in New York City and Philadelphia for organizations like Sanctuary for Families and Nationalities Service Center.
Why I care about helping nonprofits grow: The nonprofit sector is an exciting space filled with the expertise, creativity, and unwavering commitment to address many of the social, political, and economic challenges that our communities face. A growing nonprofit is the manifestation of what it looks like when we feel empowered to invest in ourselves and make an impact—and that is what gravitates me to this work.
Hobbies: Playing Sudoku, overusing my stove-top coffee maker, Broadway shows, nonfiction books (I can occasionally be persuaded to read fiction), attending drag shows
Unusual talent: Committing to my autumnal aesthetic regardless of the time of year.
